Here we'll show you three top-most recommended methods that you can follow and try: There are multiple ways that you can apply to move the photos inside Google Drive to Google Photos. How to Move Photos from Google Drive to Google Photos Moving your photos from Google Drive to Google Photos is a smart choice to manage your image collections and cloud storage space. Google Photos also automatically backs up your new photos taken on your device immediately.Īside from this, moving photos to Google Photos also helps you get more space in Google Drive for storing more meaningful content.Google Photo allows you to access and edit photos anytime and anywhere on both computers and mobile phones. ![]() Google Photos makes it easier for you to filter photos and images via subject, location, description, and even a person's face.Google Photos allows you to find, manage and share photos easier. Here is a list of benefits that you'll get and understand why do you need to switch photos to the Google Photos: There are several good reasons to move your photos from Google Drive to Google Photos. The app requires accessibility access and the permission to display over other apps (it's putting a cursor on top of your screen). I had to install it on both my phone and my TV to enable the cursor mode. I tried plenty of apps, but only one worked well on my Chromecast with Google TV: Zank Remote. ➡️ And finally, if you have any other Android TV, you're left in the cold because the official remote app has a trackpad and a swipepad, but no mouse. You'll get a hovering mouse on your TV that you can move around and click on items with. ➡️ If you have a Shield TV, you can download the official remote app from the Play Store and switch to the mousepad mode in it. ![]() ➡️ If you have a USB or Bluetooth mouse ready, just connect it to your Android TV unit. Three scenarios present themselves in the case of the missing mouse function. ![]() What you need is a mouse or mouse-like functionality to do that. You'll quickly notice that D-pad scrolling in the menu isn't possible in Photos on Android TV, so you can't go down to settings or click on anything. It could be younger kids or elderly people, or anyone else who doesn't have a phone or tablet, and you want them to be able to access the gallery and check some pics or videos when you're not around to cast the content to the TV. The second reason is to allow someone who doesn't have a smartphone to browse your gallery on the big screen. For most other people who don't need the automatic backup to kick in each time they take a screenshot, there's always a slower manual way to send screenshots to other devices - uploading from Solid Explorer to Google Drive, or using Send Files to TV are two methods I've often used. This is clearly something only tech writers, gamers, app developers, or tutorial writers would find useful. The first one is to set up automatic backups and sync your screenshots to other devices. As far as I'm concerned, there are only two valid reasons to get Google Photos running on your Android TV. I could talk about how more convenient it is to browse your gallery directly on the TV instead of looking down at the phone then up at the big screen, but really that's a tiny nitpick.

Microsoft mind map pro3/6/2023 ![]() On Coggle's free plan, you get your first three mind maps saved to their private servers, which means no one else can see them. Plus, unlike our two previous apps, its online placement allows multiple users to edit the same mind map from different locations. It looks sharp, it's easy to use, and it doesn't require a download to get started. ![]() That might sound like a bummer at first, but it's true what they say-you get what you pay for.Ĭoggle is an excellent app. CoggleĬoggle follows a Fremium model, which means some features are available for free while the best features are only available to paying customers. Also, like FreeMind, Freeplane doesn't have online functionality.Ĭons: Doesn't look great, no online collaboration 3. Therefore, I'll have to dock some points for that. I usually wouldn't weight that so heavily, but a big part of mind mapping is the visual element. This might just be a personal note, but I don't like the look of Freeplane quite as much as FreeMind. That's a nice option to ensure you can access your mind map later. Furthermore, FreeMind exports in a variety of file types including. This allows you to go back and flesh out ideas. One improvement over FreeMind is the ability to add notes to idea cards in the sidebar. Download it to your computer, open your mind map, and start brainstorming ideas. If you're in the same room with a collaborator you can of course work on the same outline. However, one of the bummers of FreeMind is that it doesn't do much in the way of online collaboration. The best part? It's an intuitive, easy-to-use interface. You can even embed HTML elements or dates into your maps. ![]() Little did Woodward realise at the time that he, Dixon and their friends were being headhunted. ![]() One night, working under floodlights, they were visited by Derek Walker, newly appointed chief architect to Milton Keynes, and his second-in-command Stuart Mosscrop. For the balcony overlooking Waterloo Bridge, they produced a full-size reconstruction of Vladmir Tatlin’s 1920 Monument to the Third International, for which no drawings had survived. He had been spending his evenings working with Dixon and others on the exhibition Art in Revolution held at the Hayward Gallery that April. The Shopping Building, Milton Keynes, which opened in 1979 and is now known as the Centre: MK. Woodward felt liberated by the release, he said. When he raised objections, the Smithsons fired him. By his own happy admission, Woodward had discovered sex, drugs and rock’n’roll, and resented the intrusion at a weekend without even a “please”. The crunch came in 1971: he was called in one Saturday morning to move furniture. The couple had turned down commissions in order to design a British embassy in Brasília, and the abandonment of the project by the Foreign Office left them with little work, so Woodward did not see a future there. He considered Peter Smithson a brilliant “top down” designer, while Alison worked from “bottom up”. He felt the Greater London council got what it wanted at the time, and that the very large south-facing flats at the ends of the blocks in particular would have adapted well to the private sector. He also worked on Robin Hood Gardens, the controversial brutalist housing in east London, now half-demolished. He designed the interior of the residential accommodation at St Hilda’s College, Oxford. “This was like a newly qualified actor getting a call from … Peter Hall at the National Theatre,” Woodward told a Milton Keynes historian in the early 2000s. In April 1963 Woodward joined Alison and Peter Smithson’s small practice. Woodward’s team applied Buchanan’s theories in a detailed but unrealised scheme for Fitzrovia in London. His thesis on high-density housing, with Martin Haxworth and JCW Hodges, based around the London county council’s unbuilt scheme for a new town at Hook, near Basingstoke, led to them being headhunted (with Derry Burton) to work on Colin Buchanan’s report on traffic planning, Traffic in Towns.Ī government report with such impact that Penguin published it as a book in 1964, it inspired the separation of pedestrians from traffic by means of precincts and walkways over the following decade. There he made lasting friends, who included Jones, Jeremy Dixon and Tony Richardson. Christopher attended Portsmouth grammar school, where he determined to become an architect from an early age, securing a rare local authority grant to study at the Architectural Association in London, in 1957 at the height of its influence on new building in Britain. He was born in Southsea, Hampshire, the eldest child of Stanley Woodward, a naval officer, and his wife, Joan (nee Hawkesworth). Robin Hood Gardens, Poplar, east London, a controversial housing scheme, was one of the projects Woodward worked on in the 1960s The rooftop service yard made this possible. For the Shopping Building, one of the focal points of the new town of Milton Keynes, he wanted to create real streets, with a building line and open-air parking. Woodward, who has died aged 83, was appalled by the dingy yet expensive basement servicing required by contemporary shopping centres at Brent Cross and Runcorn, and in the US. The hi-tech design makes this unusual solution, devised by the architect Christopher Woodward, look deceptively simple. The light comes from high clerestories over the malls, since the main roof is also the service yard for the shops, accessed by vehicles from a bridge that carries one of Milton Keynes’s many boulevards right over the middle of the building. ![]() Opened in 1979 and now rebranded the Centre: MK, it is surviving the economic downturn better than most, and its natural lighting makes shopping a more pleasant experience than in other indoor centres. The Shopping Building, an indoor mall in the heart of the city centre, serves as Milton Keynes’s high street.
